Safeguarding

School works alongside the police and social care in cases of domestic abuse.

Safeguarding

At Mickleover Primary School, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment where all pupils feel secure, valued, and able to thrive.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All staff and volunteers are trained to recognise concerns and act in line with current safeguarding guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.

If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please speak to a member of our Safeguarding Team. Details of our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Deputy Safeguarding Leads, and wider Safeguarding Team can be found in the links below. In an emergency, please contact the police or children’s social care immediately.
